We had an uplifting 2016 Homecoming service to celebrate 150 years on Sunday November 13, 2016 featuring our Homecoming Reunion Choir and guest speaker Rev. Julia Robinson Moore. As a follow-up to our series, learning to See Gray in a Black & White World, First United Presbyterian and First Presbyterian Church will host the documentary 13th, in which scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans in the aftermath of the amendment to abolish slavery. The May 31st screening will be held in First Presbyterian’s Wood Fellowship Hall from 6-7:30 p.m., followed by discussion from 7:30-8 p.m. If you would like dinner for $5, please register at http://bit.ly/13thMovieFPC by May 24th.
