At First United, we praise God and minister to our congregation in different artistical ways such as dance, song and playing instruments. You do not have to be a musician to join any of these ministries.

Sunday Worship

9:45am Adult Sunday School (Sept.- June)
11:00am - Worship Service

The Sunday Worship Service at First United Presbyterian Church consists of an approach to God that praises Him, acknowledges what we believe, and confesses our need for forgiveness.

Through the affirmation of faith, concerns and common ministry, tithes and offerings, and hearing God’s Word, the congregation responds to God’s message. Our messages are Biblically based that inspires, traditional and contemporary liturgical dance, and beautiful music that lifts the soul. In order to make those connections we use various elements such as: music, the arts (liturgical dance, mime, drama, etc.), videos, real-life stories from people in our congregation, prayer, and practical, life changing messages. Occasionally you will hear our youth choir sing and hear the word of God read by our youth. We have small and large print bibles and seating for persons with disabilities.

Prayer Requests

Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. — James 2:14.  Here at First United, we take our needs to the Lord in prayer. We know that prayer works, and we trust in God and hold fast to His promises. If there is someone you would like added to our prayer list, or if you would like someone taken off our prayer list, please contact the church office at 704-376-8014 or send your confidential prayer requests to This email address is being protected from spambots.
