You are invited to Film Night at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30 p.m. The featured film will be America Divided: Democracy for Sale. This free event is sponsored by the Saint Peter's Episcopal Social Justice Ministry and will include a facilitated discussion of the issues and what ways we can bring about change. The church is located at 115 West 7th Street. Free parking is provided in the TransAmerica Parking Deck on West 7th Street, opposite the church side entrance.
The "Peace and Global Witness Offering" supports every level of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to work for peace and respond to injustice in their own contexts and around the globe.Â First United Presbyterian Church will observe the Peacemaking Offering on Sunday, October 1, 2017.
Come join our Pink Steppers Team here at First United Presbyterian Church by fundraising for Race for the Cure. The race will be held on October 7th at 6:00 a.m. starting at South Tryon Street between 3rd and 4th streets. Please see an Usher for detailed information or one of our Team Captains, Claudia McClain and Billy Malone.
Youth Camp The Charlotte Presbytery is hosting a Middle and High School Retreat at Camp Pee Dee on November 4th and 5th. Join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship and learning in a camp style setting. The cost of the retreat is $65 per person (only $45 per person for youth who participate in the Charlotte Youth Ministry Consortium). The retreat schedule, registration forms and the packing list can be found on the bulletin board in the Library and Narthex. Transportation will be provided by the CYMC from Charlotte to Camp Pee Dee.
